Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Students Excel at ACTE Student Showcase at Ohio Statehouse

Four students represented Ohio Hi-Point Career Center at the Association for Career and Technical Education Student Showcase this week.

The event was part of the Ohio ACTE Legislative Conference and was held at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus.

The students talked about OHP’s career awareness activities, highlighting the school’s student-led programs and teacher-facilitated kits, which introduce career education to elementary and middle school students.

The students who participated in the event include:

Grace Martin – Education Academy (Marysville)

Marialaura Machado Araujo- Health Careers Academy (Bellefontaine)

Elias Abrego – Engineering Academy (Bellefontaine)

Kyan Thomas – Structural Construction (Marysville)

School officials sated that they are extremely proud of how the students represented themselves and OHP.
