Officer Dominic Francis, of the Bluffton Police Department, will be one of several names added to the Hancock County Fallen Officers Memorial during the Fallen Officers Memorial Service.
That will start at 6 this evening at the Fort Findlay Fraternal Order of Police Lodge in Findlay.
Officer Francis was killed in the line of duty on March 31 last year.
He was attempting to deploy stop sticks on I-75 in an effort to stop a vehicle that was involved in a high speed pursuit when he was struck by the vehicle.
The event is open to the public and refreshments will be served inside the lodge following the service.
