Benjamin Logan won a thriller Tuesday night at Liberty Hills over last years league champion Northwestern. Typically the coaches try to shotgun players off multiple holes so that the play is faster and teams may return home more quickly on school nights. With players finishing in that fashion it's hard to keep up with the action. One minute things look good, the next minute not so good.
With 5 of the 6 varsity scores reported Ben Logan trailed by a stroke. However Tanner Rader was the last to finish and although he only beat his man by a stroke his score replaced a score 3 shots higher to give the Raiders the victory 165- 166. With the win Ben Logan remains undefeated in league play at 8-0 and 27-7 overall. Individual scores for Ben Logan were Grant Ricketts 38, TJ Fink 41, Tanner Rader 43, Colin Headings 43, Mitchell Fink 46, Will Kenoyer 52.
The JV's also won their first match of the season. The Jv's were led by Connor Stewart with a 50, Jared Sater 52, Daniel Meier 57, and Justin Watkins 60.
The Raiders travel to Cherokee Hills Wednesday to take on Indian Lake in another conference match.
