Homeless can apply for social security.

The Community Action Commission of Hancock, Hardin, Wyandot and Putnum Counties has obtained a grant to help those who are homeless or in danger of being homeless apply for social security disability benefits.

Marci Sease, Social Security Specialist, said you have to meet all three qualifications, "You have to be 18 years or older and homeless. If you have an eviction notice, maybe you're couch hopping and family or friends say you need to get out and you have to feel like you have a disability or physical or mental issue that keeps you from working up to 12 months continuous."
