Wharton Man Facing Possession of Heroin Charge

A Wharton man was arrested for possession of heroin Friday afternoon.
 

According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were dispatched to the McDonald's parking lot to investigate a report of people in a vehicle who were involved in a drug deal.
 

Officers arrived and located five people around the vehicle. All of the people were identified and checked for warrants. 44 year old John Symonds was allegedly found to be in possession of heroin. He was arrested and transported to the Multi-County Jail in Marion.
 

Another man, identified as 35 year old Adam Harvey, of Forest, was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.
