| Description: | Much excitement is planned for Homecoming week at Kenton High School beginning October 8. Activities include Banner Contest, Spirit Chains, Special Dress Days, and Traditional Bonfire on Thursday October 11 @ 7:30pm in the Athletic Building Parking Lot. A Pep Rally will be held Friday October 12 in the High School Gymnasium @ 2pm. The Homecoming Parade will form in front of the Windstream Building and proceed East on Columbus Street to the Middle School @ 6pm. Joining the Parade will be the JROTC Color Guard, JROTC Drill Team, Kenton High School Band and Wildcat Cheerleades. Last Year's Homecoming Queen, Emily Schaub and the 2002 Homecoming Queen, Stacy Waddle, along with this year's Attendants will highlight the Parade. Kenton City Schools retired employee, Steve Ashba will serve as Grand Marshall. Pre-game Ceremony and activities will begin Friday @ 7pm with the presentation of the Queen and Attendants. Saturday October 12 the Junior Class will sponsor the Homecoming Dance from 8-11pm in the High School Gymansium. |
